ARTIST BOOK
One of our major interests at Nirupama Academy lies in developing Limited Edition Artist’s Book. We are experimenting on structural & aesthetical aspects of various bookbinding methods.
NATURAL DYE
India has a long tradition of dyeing using natural pigments. While natural dyes are usually applied on fabrics, we at our Academy are implementing them on prepared wet pulp while maintaining the basic principle of dyeing method.
VEGETABLE & FRUIT PAPYRUS
Original version of papyrus is made from a plant of the same name. We are creating unique sheets from various vegetables and fruits by using the same age old technique.
